In 2018, Habil started a business importing his family's cashews from Tanzania into the UK. Habil was building on a family heritage of work in the world of cashews: in the 1970s, his grandfather started giving out cashews as snacks to customers while they waited for their outfit to get measured at his tailoring shop in Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) - which still runs to this day! Relationships with small scale cashew farmers grew and people started to associate the shop not only for tailoring but also for the amazing quality and size of the cashew nuts. Bit by bit, that turned into Cajuu - Habil's company today - which has always kept the link to the farmer at the core of everything he and his team do.
